Weekend waterfall trip – Chilling, Tanglir & Sungai Dua.
Last weekend, me and some other friends have organized a few waterfall trips. Posted a few pictures, and link to full pictures.
Chilling Waterfall
Some of us have been there already. Its a nice and leisure trip, just involve 40 minutes walk to the main fall. The campsite now is well maintained. Everyone entering the park need to register, and went back to campsite before 5pm. Anyone using toilet have to pay 50 cents, just a great deal to have convenient toilet in camping area with that cost.
Tanglir waterfall.
Tanglir Waterfall located in Kg Bukit Tinggi. Just have to take the exit to Selesa Hillhomes after Genting Sempah RnR, and just drive along the way. There are a few junctions, we asked a few local people there, and they are really convenient to show us the way. We drive my car, just proton wira. We drive as far as we can go, then we walk for about 35 minutes to the waterfall.
Sungai Dua.
Sungai Dua Waterfall have easy access, directly to the fall. If you drive a 4×4 or a motorbike, you can park just by the water. To go there, just exit Karak highway at Mempaga and make a U-turn back into the highway. After about 1km meters, exit the highway to an unsigned road, into Kampung Sungai Dua. Just follow the road for about 1.8km, and you will see an offroad path to left going down straight to the waterfall.
Sungai Dua waterfall is really nice, and beautiful. But if you choose the wrong day, you might end up sharing the same pool with the local people washing their motorbikes. There are a clear area for camping, just beside the pool, close to the waterfall.
