ARCIIUM New Gallery – Picasa Web

Currently we have a hard time managing our own gallery. Start from harddisk space problem, then it goes to spammer. Last time I checked, our gallery have more than 30,000 albums, that I never know about!! Now, its working fine, have reconfigure some permission and security issues.

Anyway, we have setup a new gallery for our website. Now we are using PicasaWeb, reachable at http://www.picasaweb.com/arciium/. Picasa really release my headache, with its easy file upload through Picasa Desktop. Just select the picture files, upload, define the target album, and just wait

In PicasaWeb they also provide geotagging, where we will tag where the picture was taken in Google Map. IT wont be precise at the moment, but we will have an idea on where the picture was taken.

You can start browsing for the pictures uploaded there. The latest picture is our Hari Raya trip. You can comment on the pictures, and please use the button “share” on top-left side, send it to our friends, as one of promotion method.

One more thing to add, the only problem with Picasa Web

To upgrade, here is the options.

It will cost us USD 20 for 10GB for one year. We have already used half of 1GB free space. We will figure out how to solve that
