TripTracker- Log your trip online.
I just found this website. Searching for a good way to log our activities, TripTracker is just a nice place we could use.
TripTracker have an easy and straightforward interface, I think almost anyone could use it. You will start with creating your own profile, and start adding your trip. The information that will be aggregated within TripTracker is the trip overview with real GPS data, mapped on Google Earth, ebudy trip journal, and photos. TripTracker also provide a good companion, Tripracker Uploader, a software we could use to upload pictures from our Desktop. It will automatically resizes photos we’re uploading automatically, which will signifantly reduce upload time.
One thing I could not figure out is how to add the GPS log manually. Because in the website, they have the feature to import GPS log file from major GPS devices and also from Google Earth file. Hope someone could help me, generate KML file from Google Earth traces.
TripTracker was meant to a long journey traveller actually. Some of them having a thousand-mile trip, across continent. So, Google Earth mapping would be a suitable companion to visualize their trip. However, we still could use it. It’s free, who give a **** where we went to
