Chilling Waterfall – 21-22 July 2007
21 & 22 July 2007, there are around 16 of us, went to Chilling Waterfall, in Kuala Kubu Bharu. The trip was a last minute plan, we just departed from IIUM at 3pm, and arrive at Chilling Waterfall around 7, after do some shopping for our rations.
Now, all everyone was not allowed to go further than the hanging bridge for camping, for safety precaution. There have been several accidents before. So, we camp at the base camp, with some other groups, from Wangsa Maju, MultiMedia University, and a few more. Not much to do that night, waiting for tomorrow.
The next day, we took 40 minutes walk to the first waterfall, and do some activities, canyoning. We went to the waterfall side through the bushes, and set the anchor, and all of us do canyoning at the waterfall. We have to divert our drop point, as the condition not really suitable. At 3pm, we went back, packing up, and thats all.
Chilling Waterfall have a very nice view of the waterfall. Its really high, and you can feel the water from far ahead. But the area was quite small, and not so deep, we could not have a smooth swim
